Welcome to Le Clos Auvergnat, a large group gîte located in Tauves, in the Puy-de-Dôme, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d’Auvergne. Just a few minutes from Massif du Sancy, the Mont-Dore and La Bourboule, our gîte welcomes you up to 49 people for your family holidays, weekends with friends, sports and themed stays or corporate seminars, in a preserved and rejuvenating natural setting. Ideally located in the Auvergne mid-mountains, Le Clos Auvergnat is the dream starting point for exploring the Sancy and the Volcans d’Auvergne. In spring and autumn, go hiking, cycling or VTT on the many surrounding trails. In summer, enjoy mountain trekking, the cool crater lakes and rivers, or discover the region's charming villages. In winter, the nearby Sancy resorts open their doors for skiing, sledging and snowshoe walks.

A wonderful family weekend (group of 39 adults, teens, and 2 children). We were perfectly welcomed. The packed lunch option for midday allowed us to hike throughout the day as we pleased. The on-site activities appealed to both teens and adults (ping pong, boules, billiards, foosball), and the terrace is very pleasant; the sun protection just needs a bit of rethinking as it's a little light for bright sunshine. The new owner is very friendly and attentive to special diets. We will return with pleasure.
